The Gentle Start offers relaxed, practical and evidence-informed antenatal courses designed to help you and your birth partner feel more prepared for labour, birth and those first days with your baby.

Led by registered midwife Carla, our in-person courses combine clear, evidence-informed education with practical preparation in a warm and supportive environment.

Groups are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of six couples. This means there's plenty of time to ask questions, practise techniques together and talk through the things that matter to you.
